Princeton High School 50th Class Reunion
The Saturday night dinner was held at the Sharonville Convention Center.
Riley's restaurant was the location for the Sunday breakfast gathering. This picture of the Heismann Hayloft hangs in this local establishment. Many of Dan's fellow classmates mentioned the Hayloft and great memories of time spent there as well as kind words regarding Mom and Dad Heismann.
Geocaching brought us to this town square where we learned that Twinsburgh was originally named Millsville and got its name from the Wilcox Twins who gave 6 of their 4,000 acres of land for a public center and $20.00 toward a new school if the town would change its name to Twinsburg. Every August, Twinsburg hosts the Twins Days Festival which is the largest gathering of twins in the world.

We visited Ben, their son, and his family. We saw where he lives, his family and his workshop. He gets his creative genes from Jean. Orders for his art work keep him busy along with the cows and pigs that he raises.

Wine, grilled shrimp and zucchini - a perfect evening enjoyed shared with Jean and Pete. Colorful flowers, green foliage and a TALL plant are part of their yard.

Maine
Maine is known for lobsters and eating one is a challenge, but yummy. After walking out on Potts Point (at low tide) and looking for the geocache, we decided to have lobster at the Estes Lobster House close by. Watching the fog roll in added to this delightful dinner.

Acadia National Park
Here we are on Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the Atlantic coast. What awesome views in every direction.
The granite rocks are "laced" with a black strip caused by magma that welled up into cracks
This stone structure, or cairn, found on Acadia's trails above tree line helps guide hikers. Some of these are more than 100 years old. Trail crews built many miles of trails and hundreds of cairns to point the way.
